Experimenting with different reverb tools, in the end I stuck with chromaverb
Because the original 8 second clip wasn’t long enough I cut and copied the middle section of the audio, creating a longer sound effect, I made sure that it wasn’t just repeating the same sound clip however.

2. Editing the Geiger counter sound effect

Initially I noticed that there wasn’t really a lot I could do with this sound as I needed to keep it as basic as possible.
I wanted this sound effect to become louder as the speed of the crackling increased so I used the equaliser to achieve this.
After messing around with different sound settings I just stayed with the equaliser settings Id chosen previously and the preset binaural post-processing settings.
